Jon K. Price, Ph. D.
Happiness is not a goal... it's a by-product of a life well lived. - Eleanor Roosevelt
I’m Jon, education technologist and researcher with over 30 years of education and education service experience to pull from. If someone needs support in monitoring and evaluation that needs to be put to use for strategic planning and program management, I’m called in.
My skills have been used to design and implement monitoring and evaluation efforts that can be applied to inform program growth and improvement. My expertise is in collecting “story data” used to show meaning or value. I can then package that data into products that are useful.
These skills have taken on new meaning for me following a severe spinal cord injury in 2018. I am putting them to use by supporting local agencies that serve the disability community and consolidating resources to help those impacted by a spinal cord injury.

I have worked with Jon Price for many years at Intel. He's a professional of high note and has extremely sound knowledge of his area of expertise as well as a quick learner to pick up on areas outside of his comfort zone. In my dealings with Jon around Monitoring and evaluation, he demonstrated depth of knowledge and more importantly, ability to adapt to different circumstances. He has great interpersonal skills and always a pleasure to work with and be around. I have no hesitation in recommending Jon for any position he applies for as he has a sound track record and great potential.

I have worked with Jon on many occasions for over a decade. As an Educational Technologist, I have continually been amazed by his expert knowledge in the field and how he has been able to integrate critical information from industry into collaborative projects. I am impressed by his invitation to advise on a National Science Foundation research grant, assist in the development of a research lab between a US and China university and to serve on the selection committee for the new Dean of the College of Information Sciences at a US university. Jon has an incredible breadth of national and international experience in the field of Educational Technology. His experience, work ethic, and knowledge are a truly above and beyond most of my other professional connections in this area. I always look forward to conversations with him because I learn a lot about current issues and exciting projects and collaborations.

I worked closely as a consulting researcher with Jon for 10 years while he managed programs at Intel and I was a director at SRI Int'l. Jon is an outstanding manager with keen strategic insights in developing research and evaluation programs, overseeing teams nationally and internationally, and bringing out the best in all his colleagues. His expertise in technology, education, research, and large-scale implementation together with his collaborative and warm personality make him truly one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure to work with.
